Founded in 1910, the Grand Rapids Art Museum is now home to hundreds of pieces of fine art. It recently moved into a new museum building near Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids, and obtained Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for it’s environmentally-friendly construction.
The Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley State University was established to "provide a foundation for influencing present and future leaders through the study of the presidency." It hosts a variety of events in the area and features an interactive Ask Gleaves section with its director, Gleaves Whitney.
