Iraq
Recent reports from Iraq have showed improvements in our military progress. As a member of the Armed Services Committee, I believe it is critical that Congress continues to provide the resources necessary for our troops on the battlefield. Of course, our great nation has made tremendous sacrifices in Iraq and thousands of American troops have paid the ultimate sacrifice in this conflict. We must continue to hold these Americans forever in our hearts and remember their families in our prayers.
While we all may have differing views on the war, it is essential we continue to remember the proud men and women in uniform who are serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world, and continue to thank them and their families for their sacrifices on our behalf.
