The Solano Economic Development Corp. will host a luncheon event featuring Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher, chairwoman of the House Armed Services Strategic Forces Subcommittee.

Rep. Tauscher will deliver a “Washington Update.”  The Congresswoman will address such topics as the local business environment, Travis Air Force Base, local transportation funding, the House Budget Resolution, and the Iraq War.

The mission of Solano Economic Development Corporation is to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life of Solano County communities through attraction, growth and retention of business and industry.  The EDC has both public and private partnership members.  The Board of Directors consists of business leaders, elected officials, city managers and economic development staff.
