Public schools in our country should be a local possession and a national obsession.  As a mother, I understand the importance of having our children grow up in the best educational system in the world. That means fully funding school programs and providing teachers with the tools they need to succeed.  We must place a renewed focus on our schools, especially math and science education, to ensure our children can thrive in the 21st century.
