Californians have long been at the forefront of environment and energy issues. Climate change has already had measurable impacts on our environment and will continue to do so unless we dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our country and across the world. In order to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and help fight climate change, I strongly support the use of renewable energy sources. Protecting our environment also means maintaining critical endangered species habitat and preserving the health of the Delta. We must work together to reverse the decline of fish populations in the Delta and restore the balance to California’s water supply.
