About Congresswoman Donna Edwards

Congresswoman Donna EdwardsCongresswoman Donna Edwards is the new representative for Maryland's 4th Congressional District after winning a Special General Election on June 17th. Prior to taking office, she served as the executive director of the Arca Foundation, in Washington, DC. She was the co-founder and executive director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence and worked on campaign finance reform issues as a lobbyist for Public Citizen and the Center for a New Democracy. Cong. Edwards completed undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University and received her Juris Doctor from Franklin Pierce Law Center. She lives in Fort Washington, Maryland, and is the proud mother of Jared, a junior at Drew University.
