ALLARD PLEASED WITH SPACE COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS

November 19th, 2008 - Washington, D.C. - U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard (R-Colo.) commented today in a Senate floor statement on the recently released “Allard Commission” regarding the management and organization of National Space Security. A portion of Allard’s statement is below:

“Along with the American people, I am indebted to the panel for their hard and thoughtful work on this study,” added Allard. “Their discoveries and suggestions for improvement are invaluable. It is my hope that the next Congress and the next Administration will take a serious look at this study and craft an aggressive and coherent strategy for America’s future presence in space.”
