Statement of U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall On Tragic Shootings At Virginia Tech
04/16/07U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall, D-WV, issued the following statement Tuesday on the shootings at Virginia Tech University:
"We as a Nation mourn the victims of this tragedy, and pray that their families, friends and the Virginia Tech community might find peace. I am reminded today of the words of the great Psalmist, who said, 'Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; they rod and thy staff they comfort me.' To the West Virginia students attending Virginia Tech and their families - you are not alone. The prayers of a Nation are with you. Your sadness is shared by us all, just as your triumph over this will be celebrated by us all."
