Oak Hill Elementary School Receives $35,000 HP Technology for Teaching Grant

U.S. Rep. Nick J. Rahall (D-WV) announced a grant of $35,000 to Oak Hill Elementary School in Oak Hill, WV. The grant is provided to the school by Hewlett-Packard's Technology for Teaching Grant Program to support educators who are using mobile technology in innovative ways.

"Providing the necessary tools and funding to our teachers is essential to West Virginia staying on pace with the technology race," said Rahall. "Our children need access to the latest technological advancements in the classroom and Hewlett-Packard is aiding our school systems tremendously with their grant program."

The grant is designed to provide equipment and funding while positively impacting student performance through the integration of technology into the education process.
