InternshipsMy internship program provides college students with an opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about the daily operations of the United States Congress.

All interns are involved in the daily work schedules of my Washington, D.C. office and can expect to gain valuable work experience. Job responsibilities include: helping with the day-to-day operations of the office, conducting Capitol tours, attending committee meetings, drafting legislative correspondence and participating in legislative research projects. Additional job responsibilities will be assigned according to the interests of the intern.

Candidates who are chosen for the Washington, D.C. office may receive a stipend to help defray part of their travel and living expenses. In addition, interns can arrange to receive academic credit for their work.
My office is always accepting resumes from college students interested in interning in my Washington, D.C, office. The program is open to all area college students, regardless of major. Interested candidates should call my office at 202-225-3115.
