Whitfield Secures Waiver to Begin Work on the Paducah Floodwall Project
November 17, 2008 WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Ed Whitfield (KY-01) last Friday helped secure a waiver from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that will allow the federal government to provide a local cost share credit for Paducah for needed repairs to the city's floodwall. This could potentially mean a savings to the City of Paducah of $1.17 million or more. |
