Please do not send mail to Congressman Murtha's Washington, D.C. Office or any Outreach Office unless specifically directed to do so. Mail deliveries to the D.C. Office are screened for protection from biological or other potentially hazardous substances, which delay delivery by several weeks. Because the 12th Congressional District is spread out over parts of nine counties, outreach offices are not continually staffed, so delays of at least a few days and sometimes up to a few weeks occur when mail is sent to an outreach office.
