What: The Office of Congressman Jose E. Serrano will honor
South Bronx artist Teresa Perez at a reception in the Congressman’s district office on Wednesday evening, June 7th, at 5:30 PM, as part of its celebration of National Puerto Rican Day Parade Week. Ms. Perez, a painter and mixed-media artist, captures images of the Puerto Rican experience and diaspora. Twenty-five of her paintings will be on display in the Congressman’s office through September 12th.
