Inauguration Information

The 56^th Presidential Inauguration will take place on Monday, January 20, 2009 at the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.  Each Member of Congress receives a limited number of tickets for the Inaugural swearing-in ceremony.  If you are a resident of Rhode Island’s First Congressional District and would like to request tickets, please call the Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-4911.  Unfortunately, due to unprecedented demand, we will not be able to fulfill all requests for tickets. The deadline to request tickets is Monday, December 1, 2008.

The public should also be aware that no website or other ticket outlet actually has inaugural swearing-in tickets to sell, regardless of what they may claim.
