Michael Fay - Royce had the honor of hosting world-renowned ecologist Michael Fay to talk about a very serious threat to the world's second largest tropical rainforest behind the Amazon - Central Africa's Congo Basin. Fullerton Sports Complex Dedication Ceremony - Joined by youth teams and their parents, Congressman Ed Royce and Fullerton Mayor Don Bankhead dedicated the new Fullerton Sports Complex. It will be home to much-needed baseball, softball and soccer fields in North Orange County. Peace Corps Director Gaddi Vasquez - Currently the Director of the Peace Corps, Royce had long-time Orange County native Gaddi Vasquez on the show. They talked about the Peace Corps mission and how individuals can get involved. North Korean Refugee and Human Rights Meeting - The human rights abuses being committed by the North Korean government were also a focus of the trip. Royce participated in the general meeting of the International Parliamentarians' Coalition for the North Korea Refugees and Human Rights. - Korea Trip DMZ Visit - With their backs to North Korea on the DMZ, Royce talks with Specialist Hernandez from California who is stationed in Korea. American Flag at U.S. Base - Group Photo with Troops - On the trip, Royce was able to have lunch with some of the troops and fill them in on what was going on back at home.
