An avid fisherman, Daniel Vallerga has been tying fishing flies for over 45 years. Mr. Vallerga is a retired phone company supervisor who currently resides in Humboldt County. The spey flies featured in Congressman Thompson’s Washington Office (left, top to bottom) are Mr. Vallerga’s White Winged Akroyd, Lady Caroline and Glen Grant.
