Military Academy Applications

As a Member of Congress, I am able to nominate young men and women from the 5th District of Washington
to one of our country's four service Academies:   Air Force Academy ,   Army ,   Merchant Marine ,   or   Navy .
The United States   Coast Guard   does not accept Congressional nominations, applications must be submitted
directly to the Director of Admissions, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, Connecticut 06320.

After submitting this online form, a member of my staff will shortly be in contact with you to supply more
information and materials regarding the academy nomination process. The deadline for the receipt of this information
is December 1, 2008 because there must be adequate time to assess each candidate's qualifications.
Your materials must be postmarked by December 1, 2008 to be eligible.

Note: If you do not live in Washington State, but qualify as a resident of Washington State, indicate Washington
on the form below but include an explanation in the "Comments" section at the bottom of the form.
