September 3, 2008: Congress Member Charlie Melancon tours southern Louisiana to see the done by Hurricane Gustav.
On September 3, 2008, a video crew from C-SPAN followed Rep. Melancon
as he traveled around south Louisiana to assess the damage in the
aftermath of Hurricane Gustav. The eye of the hurricane passed directly
through the Third Congressional District. Rep. Melancon met with local
officials and emergency responders in Lafourche and Terrebonne Parish.
