issues4.jpgThe roadways, railways, and waterways that crisscross the nation are the backbone of society.  Congresswoman Matsui believes that it is imperative to maintain and improve these thoroughfares to secure a safe, thriving future for the people of the Sacramento region.  Investing in infrastructure projects has historically proven to stimulate the economy and generate good jobs for hard-working Sacramentans.  Making those projects green projects, and creating more options for alternatives to auto travel, will reduce congestion on California's roads, reduce air pollution, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
