  • Wilson Calls for Hearing into Destruction of Veterans’ Records
    WASHINGTON – Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02) today sent a letter to Chairman Bob Filner and Ranking Member Steve Buyer of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee requesting a hearing on the apparent mishandling and destruction of documents at certain regional offices of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Wilson noted that the Veterans’ Affairs Regional Office in Columbia, South Carolina is under investigation by the VA for the mishandling and shredding of 95 documents.
