If you have a problem with the IRS, Social Security Administration, Medicare or the Small Business Administration, I can help you.

If you need to renew your passport, complete a visa application, or secure lost or overdue military service medals, I can help you.

As your congressman, I’m your liaison to the federal government, and I can help you cut through the red tape to get the results you want.  Neither I nor my staff can approve a claim or appeal, or compel a federal agency to act in your favor.

But my job is to advocate on your behalf, to obtain answers to your questions and to ensure relevant federal agencies know of your concerns.


  • Your first step is to complete and sign this privacy form.  The Privacy Act of 1974 protects your rights and prohibits the release of personal information without your written authorization.  Before I can contact a federal agency or official on your behalf, you must first complete and send to my office the privacy form.  You can fax the completed form to my New Jersey office at 908 757-7841 or you can mail it to my New Jersey office.

  • The second step is to contact my office to outline your question or the problem you are having with the federal government.  As soon as we receive your completed privacy form, we’ll go to work for you.
