• The Rocky Hill Hook and Ladder Company received a $38,361 first-responder grant from the Homeland Security Department to purchase new communications equipment that will allow firefighters to maintain contact with each other, the Somerset County Emergency Management office and members of other nearby fire departments.

• The Rocky Hill Hook and Ladder No. 1 received a $34,200 first-responder grant from the Homeland Security Department to purchase new safety equipment for the firefighters.

• The Rocky Hill Hook and Ladder No.1 received a $49,500 first-responder grant from the Homeland Security Department to purchase breathing apparatuses for the firefighters.
