  • Congressman Ferguson secured approval of $400,000 for improvements along the County Route 523 corridor from Oldwick south to U.S. 22 in the Readington-Tewksbury Improvement District.

  • The Oldwick Fire Company received a $76,998 first-responder grant from the Homeland Security Department to purchase new equipment.
  •  Congressman Ferguson secured $150,000 to finance road and pedestrian safety improvements in Oldwick Village. The funding will help to construct 2,500 feet of new sidewalks and landscaping along Old Turnpike Road (Hunterdon County Route 517) and Oldwick Road (Hunterdon County Route 523). The sidewalks will provide areas for pedestrians to walk safely from the village.

  • The Tewksbury Police Department received a $15,712 first-responder grant from the Homeland Security Department to purchase a thermal imaging camera.

  • Congressman Ferguson voted to reduce taxes for Tewksbury residents, including doubling the child tax credit to $1,000, reducing the marriage penalty faced by two-income families, making college expenses tax deductible, reducing taxes on capital gains and dividends, and reducing all tax brackets benefiting every worker in Tewksbury.
