About the Contest

The Congressional Art Contest is an opportunity for students from the 17th District to showcase their artistic talents. Every year, one high school student from the district earns the chance to have their artwork displayed in front of a national audience in the United States Capitol for a year. 2008 Congressional Art Contest

Congratulations to the 2008 winner, Alyssa Campfied of Palmyra. Her winning piece, "Blooming Frenzy," will be featured in the U.S. Capitol, starting June 25, 2008.
