Congressman Rogers watches as President George W. Bush signs into law the Fiscal Year 2006 Homeland Security Appropriations bill.  The $30.8 billion legislation, which was authored by Rogers, funds domestic security efforts such as emergency response, border protection, and transportation security.

Rogers inspects a surveillance aircraft August 27 at the Rural Law Enforcement Training Center which officially merged operations with the Center for Rural Development. The training center assists small, rural police departments in the latest crime-fighting techniques.
Rogers discusses Sikorsky / Schweizer Aviation manufacturing facility November 3, 2006 with company employees and local officials. The company set up operations in Somerset to produce components for the Blackhawk helicopter and unmanned surveillance aircraft.
