Medicare Prescription Drug Plan Enrollment Period
The enrollment period for the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug program begins now and continues through Dec. 31, 2008. Medicare Part D is a voluntary program that helps pay the costs of prescription drugs for seniors and those with disabilities.
During open enrollment, seniors who are not enrolled can join the program, and current participants can review their plan to decide if it still meets their needs, or if it is time to choose a new plan.
