Wilmington, DE -- Delaware Congressman Mike Castle released the following statement upon hearing of the passing of his friend and former State Senator Andy Knox, who Rep. Castle had the privilege of working with through the years in the Delaware legislature.

"I am deeply saddened to hear my good friend, former State Senator Andy Knox, passed away," Rep. Castle said.  "Andy and I worked together in the State Senate, and I often relied on him for advice and counsel while I was Governor.  He was a real visionary and someone who always wanted to make Delaware a better place for all of us.  I extend my deepest sympathy to his family."
