Orange County

Orange County City Links:

Having separated from Los Angeles and Santa Ana counties in 1889, Orange County’s name references what was once a predominant citrus fruit industry. Plentiful rows of Orange trees lined the county during each season. As time passed, settlers moved south towards its pristine beaches and a farming industry grew. Over the decades, Orange County has developed into a vibrant tourist attraction. Still, it has yet to interfere with the unique culture of the local people who are proud it call Orange County home.

Part of south Orange County is located in the 44th Congressional District of California. These areas include the unincorporated towns of Coto De Caza and Las Flores, while the incorporated cities are San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano.
