Manufactured Housing Caucus

I’m proud to be the Co-Chairman of the Congressional Manufactured Housing Caucus which promotes manufactured housing as a solution to the nation’s shortage of affordable housing and seeks to remove barriers to greater availability of manufactured housing.

Did you know that manufactured homes account for 1 out of 4 new single-family homes sold each year in the United States? Manufactured homes are providing more Americans with access to affordable housing. With an average cost of $51,300, they also reduce dependencies on subsidized housing.

The Congressional Manufactured Housing Caucus was created in May 1997.  Currently 93 members of Congress have joined the Caucus to demonstrate support for alternative housing solutions.
