Thank you for your interest in visiting the United States Capitol!
Congressional tours of the Capitol are scheduled for groups of up to 15 people
through the office of Congressman Robert A. Brady between the hours of 9:30
a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For groups larger than 15 people,
tours should be coordinated through the Capitol Guide Service between the hours
of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Tours of the Capitol last approximately 40-45 minutes. However, the Capitol
is one of the country's most visited sites. Due to the crowds and necessary
security screening, visitors may wait in line for a long time during peak
periods. There will also be a great deal of walking and standing on the tour.
Please remember to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Please inform my office
of any handicapped or special needs visitors who will accompany you.
In order to schedule a Capitol tour, please call our office at (202)
225-4731 and ask to speak with the Capitol Tour Coordinator. You may also fax
your written request to (202) 225-0088. Please be sure to include the date of
your requested tour, your full name, your telephone number, and the group size
in the in your request.
Please visit the website of the Architect of the Capitol
for additional information on scheduling capitol tours for groups larger than
15 people.
