Washington, DC -- Molly Mae Farren, of Joplin, Missouri, is interning this summer in Southwest Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt’s office in Washington, D.C.
"From researching legislation to helping constituents, interns play a vital role in my Congressional office," Congressman Blunt said. "I hope that through this internship Molly has a greater understanding of how our government operates and how our Congressional office works to serve the people of Southwest Missouri."
Molly is the daughter of Allyn and Pennie Burt of Joplin. She is a senior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
"My internship in Congressman Blunt’s office has provided a wonderful experience to not only learn about the legislative process as a whole but more specifically how it effect folks back home in Missouri," Molly said, "I feel honored to have the chance to not only work for Congressman Blunt but the people of Southwest Missouri."
