I met with several Bay Area mayors to talk about local transportations needs like the Vallejo Ferry, the Vacaville Intermodal Station, and the effort to bring clean energy busses to Solano County.

I held several events on Friday, April 4, including a Congressional Silver Medal award ceremony in Concord and two high school town hall events in Vacaville. Read the advisory for these events...
George presenting Jessica Freeman Langevin and her baby daughter Zoe Nicole-Kanae Langevin with an American flag. George had the flag flown on top the United States Capital on the day of Zoe’s birth. Zoe is the daughter of the late Army Specialist Sean Kanae-Aldrique Langevin, a decorated soldier who was killed in Afghanistan on Nov. 9 when his unit was ambushed. Sean Kanae-Aldrique died four months before his daughter’s birth.
George presents the Congressional Silver Medal to Navin Eluthesen a senior at Clayton Valley High School. Navin earned the medal by contributing over 200 hours of volunteer public service to his community.
