Adm. William J. Fallon
Fleet Forces Command and U.S. Atlantic Fleet
Norfolk, VA 23551-2487

Admiral Fallon:

It is my understanding that the aircraft carrier, USS John F. Kennedy, CV 67, will steam into the Gulf of Mexico and is considering a port call in Pensacola. I wanted to share my enthusiasm for this event and let you know that my office stands ready to assist with any appropriate action. Additionally, the longstanding history and tradition of Naval Aviation in Pensacola makes it a wonderful place to showcase the recent upgrades made to the "Big John"

As always, I thank you for your service to our country and the care and attention you afford our men and women in uniform.

With warm personal regards, I am

Sincerely,

JEFF MILLER
