Congressman Porter Assigned to Ways and Means for the 110th Congress

Washington, D.C- Today, the Republican Steering Committee assigned 3rd term Congressman Jon Porter to the prestigious Committee on Ways and Means for the 110th Congress. The Committee assignment will allow Congressman Porter to continue to advocate for tax policy, access to affordable healthcare and trade issues that will that will have a direct impact on Nevadan families. The Congressman’s position will also further allow him to promote policies that foster the continuing expansion of Nevada’s booming economy. “It is both an honor and a unique privilege to serve on the Committee on Ways and Means. This opportunity gives Nevada families a voice to advocate for policies that directly affect our communities and our families.
