Click here for the latest press release from the Department of Homeland Security regarding easement of new passport requirements.

PASSPORT BACKLOG:  The Department of State appears to have corrected the problems of passport processing experienced last summer.  With the addition of more staff nationally, the Agency predicts processing times have fallen back to normal:  4-6 weeks for routine; under 4 weeks for expedited.

REMINDER:  Peak travel times are: February Spring Break and summer vacations May – Aug.
