Event To Support Senior Transit

LAUGHLIN - Silver Rider Transit will hold its second annual wine tasting and charity silent auction on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Harrah's Laughlin in the Hacienda Grande Ballroom from 4-6 p.m.

The cost is $10 per person in advance or $15 at the door. There will be two cash drawings for $500 each and the winners must be present.

Tickets can be purchased in Laughlin at Silver Rider Transit, 1575 South Casino Drive; TV-2 at 3100 Needles Hwy.; and in Bullhead City at Three Palms Salon, 1979 Hwy. 95 Suite 25 (behind National Bank) after Sept 10.

The profits will be used to help pay the 20 percent match to a federal grant of $98,000 obtained by 3rd District Congressman Jon Porter to replace two small senior transit program buses which each have more than 300,000 miles on their engines.
