BARTOW, Fla. – Congressman Adam Putnam’s office today announced that previously scheduled outreach meetings in Hillsborough and Polk counties Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19 and 20, have been cancelled due to Tropical Storm Fay. Caseworkers from Putnam’s office are available by telephone to help people who have questions concerning agencies of the federal government such as the Social Security and Veterans administrations.  If you need assistance with any federal agency please call Congressman Putnam’s Bartow office toll free at 866-534-3530 to speak with a caseworker or to find out when the next outreach meeting in your area is scheduled.

Since 2001, Putnam has represented Florida’s 12th Congressional District, which includes most of Polk County and portions of Hillsborough and Osceola counties.
