WASHINGTON - Congressman Adam H. Putnam (FL-12) today announced he would host an Education and Employment Fair for constituents on Tuesday, June 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“The American economy is headed in the right direction and people are getting back to work,” said Putnam. “This is the strongest job creation in four years and represents a victory for the American family. While I am pleased with this information, I want to ensure that everyone that wants a job can find a job.”
“This fair will provide opportunities to meet with local employers who will be ready to talk about their job openings and take your resume, or have you fill out an application. You can also get information on job training and educational opportunities, including scholarships, Pell grants, and other forms of financial aid to help you achieve your goals for a new or better job,” Putnam stated. “I encourage all of my constituents who are currently seeking employment to come and learn about local job opportunities and training services.”
The fair is free and open to the public. Please contact Amy Topol in Congressman’s District Office at (863) 534-3530 or Paula Bonnstedt at (863) 291-5292 ext. 305 if you wish to attend.
