 Caucus Mission Statement

The Congressional Caucus on Human Trafficking is a bipartisan group of concerned members of Congress, created to promote and enhance awareness of issues dealing with the trafficking of men, women, and children, both nationally and globally.

: Trafficking Victims Protections Reauthorizaion Act of 2007 (Rep. Chris Smith)

H.Res. 55: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives regarding modern-day slavery (Rep. Barbara Lee)

H. Res. 121: Expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the Government of Japan should formally acknowledge, apologize, and accept historical responsibility in a clear and unequivocal manner for its Imperial Armed Force's coercion of young women into sexual slavery, know to the world as "comfort women," during its colonial and wartime occupation of Asia and the Pacific Islands from the 1930s through the duration of World War II.

H. Res. 158: Observing the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the British slave trade and encouraging the people of the United States, particularly the youth of the United States, to remember the life and legacy of William Wilberforce, a member of the British House of Commons who devoted his life to the suppression and abolition of the institution of slavery, and to work for the protection of human rights throughout the world.  (Rep. H.R. 213: To provide discretionary authority to an immigration judge to determine that an alien parent of a United States citizen child should not be ordered removed from the United States. (Rep. Jose Serrano)
