Inland Empire Foreclosure Event This Saturday

Inland Empire Foreclosure Event This Saturday

Dear Friends,

This weekend I will be attending a Foreclosure Workshop to help families and individuals who need advice on how to handle mortgage problems.  The following organizations will be on-hand to answer questions and give advice:

  • Credit counselors from major lending institutions
  • The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
  • The County of Riverside
  • The Neighborhood Housing Services of the Inland Empire, Inc.
  • The Inland Gateway Association of Realtors

If you or someone you know is experiencing difficulty making mortgage payments, I urge you to attend the workshop and speak directly with professional housing counselors.

Foreclosure is the least desirable option for both the bank and the homeowner and this workshop will educate you on how you can make informed decisions and possibly avoid foreclosure.

The housing crisis has severely impacted both our state and national economy and it is important to investigate all possible options that will keep a family in their home.  However, I adamantly oppose any form of a taxpayer bailout for irresponsible financial decisions or for speculators who were “flipping” houses.  If we can help families work out their issues we can avoid a bailout.

Sincerely,
