Mail Delays

Although mail delivery to the United States Capitol offices has resumed, the delivery process is still very slow and not yet back to normal. Until the mail process is more timely, the best way to contact me or my Washington, DC staff remains either by fax at (202) 228-0282, phone at (202) 224-4451 or preferably by email.

Sent to Senate Offices

Senator Clinton's office wants to be certain that her constituents are aware that all items mailed to the United States Senate, including photographs, books and art work, undergo an extensive and rigorous processing before being delivered to Senate offices. Unfortunately, this process can, and often does, result in irreversible damage to items sent to be signed by the Senator. Because this process takes place before the items arrive in the Senate, neither the Senate nor individual Senators can be responsible for replacement of damaged articles.

Senator Clinton sincerely appreciates the interest of her constituents wishing to have items signed. However, items being sent to the Senate through the United States Postal Service or any of the express or overnight mail services are at risk of permanent damage. We are obligated to strongly recommend that individuals refrain from sending items to the Senate office for signature.
