Washington, DC -- Lesley McCormack, of Neosho, Missouri, is interning this summer in Southwest Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt’s office in Washington, DC.
"From researching legislation to helping constituents, interns play a vital role in my Congressional office," Congressman Blunt said. "I hope that through this internship Lesley has a greater understanding of how our government operates and how our Congressional office works to serve the people of Southwest Missouri."
Lesley is the daughter of John and Sherry McCormack of Neosho, Missouri. A graduate of Neosho High School, Lesley is a recent graduate of Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, and will be attending law school this fall.
"The chance to work here on Capitol Hill and gain first-hand experience of the legislative process is a tremendous asset and one that will no doubt help in my preparation for law school this fall," Lesley said, "I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work for Congressman Blunt as well as serve the people of Southwest Missouri."
