Information about Congressman Keller's 2008 Service Academy Nomination Process
I am pleased to award Congressional nominations to deserving young men and women who wish to attend our nation's federal military academies. Under Title 10, U.S. Code, applicants must be in receipt of a congressional nomination to be eligible for offers of appointment to the military service academies.
To initiate the nomination process: (1) Visit to the website of the service academy of your choice (below); (2) Go the Admissions page and look for the formatted letter for requesting vice presidential, senatorial or congressional nominations; (3) Send a completed formatted letter to my district office in Orlando requesting a nomination application. The nomination application is a comprehensive document that describes the specific documents needed to apply for a nomination, application deadlines and helpful information. Applicants must reside in Florida's Eighth Congressional District to be considered for a nomination.
