Senator Bob Bennett, ranking member on the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, joined Senator Dianne Feinstein, Chairman of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to hammer the first nails and symbolically begin the construction of the 2009 inaugural platform.
