Federally qualified health centers, also known as community health centers, provide comprehensive healthcare to medically underserved and uninsured areas.  Fees are determined on a sliding scale based on a family’s income and size.  Community health centers provide a means for families to prevent and manage sicknesses, diseases, and chronic illness instead of relying on emergency room care.
