CONSTITUENT MAIL ALERT

Because of the discovery of toxic ricin powder in a mail room in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, the Capitol Police have placed additional inspections on all incoming mail, resulting in a delay of several days. This includes all overnight and priority mail. In addition, the Capitol Police are requiring that all mail sent to the Washington, DC office of Members of the House must be opened prior to delivery to my office. In order to avoid delays and ensure confidentiality, please write to me at my Medford district office or send me an e-mail through my web site.
