Inauguration Ticket Requests

The 56th Presidential Inaugural Swearing-In Ceremony will take place on January 20, 2009 in Washington, DC.  Each member is allotted a limited number of tickets to distribute to their constituents.

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of requests my office is unable to accommodate additional ticket requests.

Please feel free to leave your contact information in order to recieve timely information about public events related to the inauguration including an open house with Congresswoman Lee! To do so, provide the following contact information to inauguration.requestsCA09@mail.house.gov.

    * Your full name
    * Your home address
    * Your contact phone number
    * Your email address

If you placed a ticket request prior to November 17, 2008 and my office was able to accommodate the request, you will be notified in December or early January 2008. Due to the high volume of requests, we will only be contacting those who receive tickets. At that time you will receive detailed information regarding ticket pick-up and viewing location.

Please note that tickets will not be mailed.  The individual requesting the tickets will be required to show a photo ID in order to pick up the tickets in my office before the Swearing-In Ceremony.

For further information on inaugural day events, opportunities to participate, and to sign-up for email updates, please visit the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies website at  http://inaugural.senate.gov/.

Requests to participate in Inauguration day events for marching bands, marching units, mounted units, and other performers are collected by the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee. The Presidential Inaugural Committee selects the participants from the collected requests.

Further information and an application to participate may be found at http://www.jfhqncr.northcom.mil/afic/.
