Ways we can help

When you need help, my staff in California and Washington will do everything they can to help break through the bureaucracy regarding Social Security, Medicare, the Veterans Administration, the Passport Office, or other federal agencies.

We can help you look for federal grants for your community project or determine your eligibility for federal student aid for college. We can order a flag, secure tours in our nation's capital, and apply for nominations to our Service Academies. We are here to serve you. See below for some of the ways we can help.

Casework: My casework staff and I are ready to help you cut through “red tape” and secure the services and benefits our tax dollars pay for.

Washington, D.C. Tours: When you visit Washington, D.C., make sure to contact my office to arrange for tours of the U.S. Capitol and other points of interest.

Presidential Greetings: Presidential greetings are available to individuals who are at least 80 years old, couples married at least 50 years, newlyweds and newborn babies.

Order a U.S. Flag: My office is able to secure, at cost, U.S. flags which can be flown over the U.S. Capitol.

Service Academy Nominations: We can help you start a career with the Army, Navy, Air Force or Merchant Marines.

Federal Grants: Prepared by the Congressional Research Service for House Members, this page offers multiple resources of information on Federal Grants.
