Congresswoman Berkley poses with Las Vegas veterans |
The Veterans History Project is a permanent, living history collection that preserves the personal, first-hand wartime experiences of veterans and the civilians who served in support of America’s armed forces.
Created and organized by the Library of Congress, through its American Folklife Center, the Veterans History Project collects and preserves audio and video-recorded oral histories from America’s war veterans and those who served in support of them, along with other first-hand materials such as memoirs, photographs, diaries, and letters.
Congresswoman Berkley wants Nevada veterans and their families to become involved in this important project that will create a lasting tribute to those who defended our nation in the armed forces.
If you are a veteran or know a veteran who would like to participate, please contact Congresswoman Berkley’s Las Vegas office by calling 220-9823 in order to schedule a recording session. You may also send an e-mail by clicking here: roxane.unverrich@mail.house.gov
