(Washington, D.C.) Fourth District
Rep. Mike Ross (D-Ark.) announced on Wednesday that within the House-passed
Transportation Appropriations bill, $80,000 has been allocated for the
Hot Springs Bike Trail.
“I am pleased that even though transportation funding was cut significantly, we were able to secure this funding for Hot Springs,” Ross said. “Many visitors come to Hot Springs to enjoy the natural beauty of the State Park, the historic significance of Bathhouse Row, and the memorable experience that the downtown area has to offer. This bike trail is just one more way for residents and visitors to enjoy Hot Springs.” The House passed the Treasury and Transportation Appropriations bill, HR 2989, late Tuesday evening. The bill goes next to the Senate for consideration. |
